![]() After reading some of the posts here, I decided to call Cleveland Plasma based on the high regard some posters have for him here. I was ready to pull the trigger on a 55C6P from iElectrica at $1449 but decided to pop on here to see if anyone had experience with them first. I've haven't bought a TV in literally 10 years, so I've been trying to do as much homework as I can. However, these forums have been very helpful to me recently, so I thought I would share my experience. You guys have been very helpful for me, so I will gladly return the favor. I believe some guy on here said something very similar when he unboxed his B6, and that he was amazed by it once he set everything up.Īny questions? I can elaborate. It will be a dark room, and used mainly in the evening, so I suspect my opinion of the TV will change once I get everything adjusted and in order. Its home will be my man-cave, which only has one window with tint installed on it. I even found the same LG demo on youtube and played it.īut, I had it sitting on the floor in my living room where its bright and lots of light coming through the blinds. I will say that out of the box, I didn't think the picture quality looked as good as it does in the store. ![]() I believe it was already updated to the latest (4.30.75 if I remember correctly, but I see 4.30.65 on the website so maybe that was it.), so I'm going to have to use a USB flash drive to get the 4.30.77 when I have some more time. I switched to dark mode, but have yet to adjust anything. I was going through things fast because I was on my lunch break, so I didn't really get a chance to really do much else. There's really nothing to them! So much Styrofoam and padding.Īll I've had time to do so far is connect the stand using the 4 included screws, update some apps (Netflix, vudu, hulu, youtube, amazon video), and play some demo's. ![]() I'd wager that these ultra thin TV's have even less change of being damaged in transit than any other TV in the past. I even took a whiff of that "new tv smell". I didn't stare at every inch of the TV mere inches away from my face, but from what I saw, it was in perfect condition. I unboxed the TV, and everything seems fine. I signed for it and the delivery service left. The corners and everything were just fine, with not a sign of damage. ![]() They do not wait around for unboxing if the box is fine. The delivery services policy is that they only will allow me to reject the delivery if there is damage to the box itself. I purchased this using eBay last Tuesday. Today I received my OLED65B6P from iElectrica. ![]()
